The director of the UDP Health Observatory, along with the dean of the Faculty of Medicine, published a letter to the editor in La Tercera titled “Rights of Incarcerated Individuals,” addressing the potential problems of the constitutional reform on security.
In the letter, both faculty members allude to the health vulnerabilities that this new constitutional proposal could create for incarcerated individuals, emphasizing that this situation should not infringe upon their fundamental human rights, such as access to healthcare.
