Dr. Ximena Aguilera, director of the Health Observatory at Diego Portales University, participated as a speaker at the World Health Summit 2026 side event entitled “From Crisis to Resilience: Innovating for Health,” an international meeting dedicated to analyzing current global health challenges and strategies for strengthening the resilience of health systems.
The event brought together representatives from various sectors, including actors from the public, private, and civil society sectors, who shared experiences and perspectives on the main challenges facing health worldwide.
During her participation, Dr. Aguilera presented at a session focused on the exchange of knowledge and the discussion of innovative approaches to addressing health crises and moving toward more resilient health systems prepared for future challenges.
The meeting facilitated the discussion of common challenges affecting different countries and regions, promoting dialogue and collaboration among organizations and institutions committed to strengthening global health.
The participation of the director of the UDP Health Observatory in this international space contributed to the exchange of experiences and reflections on innovation in health, resilience and cooperation between different actors to face contemporary health challenges.
